Here is another collection of rejected concept. As “concept art” goes these are the only level of finish we have to go to. Of course I could go more finish but these are not illustrations but rather just rough ideas. I am very happy to discover this community of wonderful artist and designers. As always I’m open for comments and suggestion. “There is no such thing as a bad question.”

those are awesome. your sketches look really good. y'know I like the 2nd concept art piece. the one in the middle. although if u were to make the girl in the third piece a little more seductive, by mabe, i don't know... making her body into a bigger arch. like shes bent backwards a bit more would make her look more seductive therefore giving her more movent. I say this because compared to the other two, it looks a lot more stiff, but I think has more potential if its worked right. but if I were to choose from what u show us I pic #2. great stuff. can't wait to see more!!!

That ball point pen work is top notch. Especially a lot of the stuff in the middle combo image. All I can really say is wow, sweet job.

You really have an eye for creature/alien/monster designs. I totally adore your pencil work and your concepts deserve a lot of credit.

Awesome work. I've seen some of your stuff at your website a while ago. I might be wrong but weren't you also a member at Francis Tsai's forum a little while ago?
Anyway, these are some impressive sketches! The technique and style are great. What kind of pens do you use? The problems I've had with ball-point pens is that the ink would always flow unevenly. I ended up resorting to Pilot Gel-ink pens but I didn't get the same line control that I would with the ball point. I'd be grateful if you could reccomend something.
Once again, awesome work.

I used the cheapest ballpoint pen I could find. I use anything I could find. I have a small box of Bic and Paper mate pens on my disk. They are about 12 for 98cents. I tend to draw very lightly and going over the line many times before I get the results I want. If it were still too light I would just go to Photoshop and make it darker.
I’m sorry I had to take out the first two images. They were similar to one of our recent approved concept.
