pen pressure

right now on my cintiq, increasing pen pressure results in a wider line. what i want tho is a darker line. is there a setting to change this?

Check "other dynamics" in the brushes tab, and set pen pressure for the control.

I cant find "other dynamics anywhere"i ,checked brushes and everything

tried it, line is still wandering off for like 2 inches after i lifted the nib
