After some tries more or less interesting, I think I get the style I was looking for that project.

I have now a small script, it was quite hard to find the main idea. I wanted something more original than a bounty hunter, or the nice guy with special powers, and the direction I choose is quite funny :)

Yum-yum is developing the main character in 3D, and has already some great ideas for the clip.

Cool, a solid step in the right direction. I'd like to see the 3D versions.

yeah, make it as different as possible! If you can make something funny, its always better than serious.

I like your work a lot, though these last two don't seem as "finished" as previous ones, I'm sure they serve the purpose. Can't wait to see more!

Interesting earrings/head thing on the chick character.
Just be careful where you crop a figure, cutting her off at the ankles flattens her out and starts to disjoint the figure.
Otherwise, interesting weapon design too.

I like it...I definately think the image at the start of the thread looks promising, and would jump at the chance to see this in animation or comic format. :)

The one of the girl, while good-looking, doesn't look like it fits the style you're going for in the first image, though. The first image looks like some sort of conceptual tongue-in-cheek sci-fi piece where almost everyone in the story wears cool color-coded suits similar to the main character, which looks like it could be most awesome. I imagine something like that playing out mostly through pantomiming. If that's roughly the sort of direction you've decided on, good choice, because it would be fucking awesome, I think.

Thx guys I'm still experiencing things for that project. I'm looking through different styles to find the good one.

So the pictures aren't homogeneous yet, but I hope to find something interesting soon.

Loga4 >> Thx man, but... it's.... a man... :(

silverslash >> I can't tell about story, because there are lots of original ideas that I don't want to spread over the Net for now...

March already !!! I was completely lost in my story...

I begin some quick searchs for alien species. I'm developping the fun part of the project, because till now the pics weren't very funny. And fun is a big part of the project.

Here you can see a first version of the low-poly character modelized by Yum-yum.

Your style is really developing lately. All of it has a really nice graphic/simplicity type style. Like the Batman cartoon but way different. Keep going!

Right on, Bone. Straight up, you got yourself another fan. Those alians are wonderful. I lke the babe, and the 3D model does your drawings justice.
You're killing me! Everytime I see your stuff, I want to quit my commercial job and go back to my side project which I'll start posting stufff from when my present game is done.

I love those first characters as well as the modeled version (btw the model looks very similiar to the illustration!) I don't know why but they just have a lot of appeal. I would love to see where you take it

As in no (or minimal) dialogue and most of the story told via a progression of onscreen action.

But of course, if you want there to be dialogue, be my guest. :)

P.S. New pictures look awesome.

i am disgustingly interested in this project of yours. the characters are great, the environments are looking good. the the style is just awesome. keep it up you are really headed somewhere with this for sure.

i dont like the non-human looking characters so much (that rat looking thing and the ETish thing)..they just dont seem like they fit so much with the rest..

but everything looks great none the less..and the lol poly model looks awesome too

Interesting designs. The girls left eye looks alittle out of place. Nice colors and original ideas. Is this a comic or a graphic novel?

sketch >> thx a lot I do my best, to find my way :)

maximillion >> I wasn't really aware that I had fans before !! But I'm very very happy now that I have one ! Don't quit your job now ! I have a fulltime job, and I do those illustrations in the same time !

hoopa >> the main character blast a huge bug with his arm/gun

jackalanubis >> I try my best to do original and fun stuff. I'm glad that you like it.

DanSTC >> Ok thank you for the offer, at this time I'm still writing the script, which is beginning to become interesting.

grinn >> I hope so, I will not make the same mistakes I did with my previous project.

scubasteve >> Yeah I really don't like that girl, I have still to find a style for the "human" characters. At this time it's a story, my dream is to make an animated serie :)

Well I didn't have very much time lately to develop the universe, exepct for this color research.

Offer? What in sam hill are you talking about? I wasn't offering to do anything...I was just throwing out an idea. Glad to hear that your script is coming along nicely, though. :)

New environment pic is pretty, too.
