He has finally run out of carrots...you could say that the bunny has hit rock bottom.

As for the first image, those legs look really sturdy. The look built to hold up a more massive creature than what is attached to them. I'd make it bigger. To fit those, is it six?!, powerhouses called legs.

And the second brings back Donnie Darko images...it seems than any rabbit done on this board reminds someone of Donnie Darko.

Due to the fact that you take an animal that is loved the world over as that dumbass Bugs..well, I like your spin on it. It really looks like it's having a drug-related panic attack.

Well, interesting responses...
-Muffin- i have yet to hear that my creatures are 'weird and unoriginal'. Thank you for the constructive comment, and perhaps you might post me a link of your work so that i might become inspired by a true original. In addition, many great concepts have 'real' life features or parts which help connect them with the viewer, and since this is the sketches and doodles forum, that is what i posted.

Zeb- thanks for the honest feedback. As for the first creature, i originally meant for it to be a sort of transporter or carrier type. I guess the legs are a bit thick, and six doesn't leave much room for long travels. I might try and post his pack, that might explain the need for the leg strengh. As for the rabbit...it was just one of those random images i had to get out of my head. I think there might be an unconscious want among people to destroy the good natured rabbit image. And besides, crack can be a natural outlet for a failing career such as bug's.

ok, i made more accessories for the creature. i'm sure he could carry much more weight, but for now, just this.

That helps out alot, but for some reason I still think the actual Grazer, I think that's what you called it, should be bigger. The size of the wagon causes the Grazer to lose it's immensity, two giant objects clashing and one loses, the main focal point of the image.

What is the Grazer's size in relation to a humans, IE how many humans could ride it at once, yadayada...

I'm picturing this thing as HUGE. A real working animal.

Oliphants from LoTR huge...God I hate referencing that...

Looking good though. I just love bizarre creatures.

Now to work on my colors for the NMCB...

Out.

Hey man, I think you're sketches look great! keep up the great work. I wouldn't say they're unoriginal at all, a creature is: living being, especially an animal: land creature

I would like to see that goat creature thing drawn as if it were super huge though, like show tiny people walking next to its legs with many ropes attatched? lol, iono.. just an idea... thought it would look cool.:D

here's a few more sketches. I've been using a blue pencil a lot lately for the undersketch. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

I've been really inspired by hawkprey's stuff lately. He's got some wicked character designs, so i tried my hand at a game-like character. I just threw on a quick background for now. As soon my tablet ships in, i'll take a crack at coloring him.
