Conceptart.org is an english-speaking forum-community, where not everyone is able to understand your German thread-titles or texts in your paintings. You would prolly get more replies if you change the language accordingly, or make it bilingual. Even a small translation at the end of your posting would help.

Other than that, I think the text field really takes away form the picture. How about trying to do an illustration without these little texts? Let the painting speak for itself!

sorry - but i think i have to defend myself a bit.

the german title is part the image for personal reasons.

the image itself is a cartoon so the textbox is part of the image, too.

in other threads i postet a translation of the text and the threads are going to be kind of translationsessions because everyone speaking german corrects me.

i wanted to speak the image for itself because i wrote no additional words.

i really dont want to break any forumrules or disturb someone. smooooooth :)

YOu shpould have told us the painting is part of a comic. You didn't use 'speech-bubbles', or a more typical place for the text. If you are going to show the painting to an german-speaking audience, too, it makes more sense too.

i have to say that taff is kinda right, especially since the the text is an essential part of the image.

i don't see any problems with a translation. you might get corrected, and?

i think i wouldn't really like the image without the text....
