What a title eh?! I cause quantum troublesomes with this one...
Half-life is a calculation of how fast a mass of atoms will decay - the rule being that half the atoms in any substance will decay over a certain period of time. When an atom decays, it can change into a whole new element. This is my ultimate symbol of birth-rebirth. It is absent of biological factors, and yet it is absolutely inevitable. I have caught this normally spontaneous process only a few seconds before the nucleus sheds its' skin.

Also check out the detail shots because it is pretty huge: http://www.iownthesun.com/art/halflife_det.html

This is for the Epilogue Season Of Renewal competition... I'll need miracles to even be IN with a chance of being runner up o_O

This is cool. Good luck with the competition. I wish some of the grey in the background had some of that orange in it.

Yeah ok - I clicked this expecting to see a dude with a crowbar. :D
