im new and i want to buy a graphics tablet i want a easy to use tablet but one thats very versatile for now im willing to spend 70-80pounds so what graphics tablet do you recommend

I bought the WACOM Bamboo to get my feet wet in using a tablet, and found myself soon upgrading to an Intuos. The Bamboo isn't bad, but when you finally do decide to upgrade, it'll be like night and day. I paid $70 for my Bamboo here in the States.

thanks im going to get a bamboo fun and touch ASAP and start with that then whats better about the Intuos

im also having the same problem, currently i been using a bamboo fun 1st gen Medium(active area seems massive) at college nd got some experience with it however i feel like i cant progress any futher, so thinking of buying either bamboo fun and touch or intuos4 small but then im not sure if the small active area will be big enough :S any ideas?

well for me its a money problem so im getting the Pen and Touch and also becasue its my first Graphic tablet but if i could i would get the Intuos

yeh i know wot you mean i kinda also have the money problem i mean i could get intuos 4 m for 260 but cuz im a beginner not sure if its worth it nd i could se the money for something else

i just ordered the Bamboo Pent&touch i was goning toe get the Bamboo Fun but i already got Photoshop so i dont need no extra programs and trial versons are good aswell

ok. have u actually used a tablet before? post some info on the tablet how it works etc :)

I just bought a new Apple IMAC and a Large Intuos 4! ( The Tablet just came in today,and the Apple i got few days ago. I cant wait to go nuts on both),...Im a traditional artist and this is my first computer and Tablet-Wish me Luck... (If anybody wants to comment on how to approach all this, feel free and just let me know)

nice your going straight for the professional allrounder tablet when you get the hang on blending share the knowledge please im struggling on that

I just went straight ahead and got a intuos4 (small) seeing as i had the money and it seemed to be the best tablet around, should be getting it soon so excited :D. Let me know how the bamboo works for you.

bamboo is grat rather samll but becasueim a beginnger it get the job done just having a problem with blending at the moment
