allright, it appears that I finaly managed to get the attatchment manager to work, so here is an image of mine...
I am currently a student of 15 attending a high school in the united states of america, and I delight in creating concepts of a scifi, steampunk, or sureal nature. I am fairly new to digital artwork, and I hope to improve.
I am also quite interested in xenobiology, and generaly the creation of realistic alien lifeforms.

i don't think you can, i think you just have to resize them in photoshop and upload again.
It's looking good tho! i'm curious to see more :)

thank you!
ah, youb see though, I'm using corel painter essentials 4, and as far as I can tell, it does not have an option for resizing... perhaps someone else can help me there?

Maybe you can save your image as a jpeg in Corel Painter and bring it into photoshop to resize the image. I usually have to resize the image first in Photoshop before uploading it to the site. It's really easy to do in Photoshop. Just go to Image --> Image Size. Then change the resolution to something low. Maybe somewhere around 72 to 100. After you do that, resize the width and height to something smaller. That's what I usually do. I'm not sure how to resize images in Corel Painter. I'm sure you can find something on it when you search for it online. Try typing in Google, resizing images in Corel Painter and something should come up.

For example you can use small InfranView which has option to resize images.
And about your design: It's really looking good to me:).

Istmin, I don't actualy have a coppy of photoshop, otherwise I'd be using that rather than corel... but yes, I should have thought of google... XD
Vumi, thank you, but what exactly is InfranView?

if you dont have photoshop you can also download GIMP, it's for free and it can be handy to have around (it's kind of like a really basic photoshop). Good luck with it :)

allright, it's been a while since I last posted here...
I haven't much to show, as I have yet to scan my most recent traditional sketches... I do however, have a terrible t20 minitue creature doodle that I don't particularly care for, as well as some recent contest entries...
I promise you that the traditional pencil sketches I hope to post soon are far better than my digital paintings... but I hope to improve at some point.
anyway...

Well, it seems I have finally discovered how to resize scanned pencil sketches, which luckily are far better than my digital atrocities...
you can expect more of these in the future, with better quality as well as quantity...
and I shall improve my digital drawing skills as well.

thank you JoeS! and I shall continue...
and Grassy, I compleetly agree with you, I am having a rather time transitioning to the useage of color, having exclusivly used a pencil to draw untill earlier this year... I shall improve though! someday...
these are some more sketches I've been working on over the past three weeks or so, and I have also posted the unfinished corpse of a teen challange here as well... I am having difficulty rendering the reflection of light from a nearby light source, can anyone give me any advice?
more information concerning the sketches can be found on my deviantart account if anyone cares...

These sketches look great, I like the way their walking out onto the paper. The beasts remind me of Salvador Dali's paintings with the elephants and the huge legs but a lot more nightmarish haha
