Nice trees man!

Only i think the up-side-down Y shape things on the trees look like they are growing the wrong way or are part of a plant growning on the tree.

And perhaps the leaves can be more realistic?

Yep, with all the detail shown on the tree surface, knots and bark etc, the leaves do need more attention. Not a lot of attention - but at the amount it doesn't 'fit' with the tree.

I like the cottage too.

hehe just gave it another try; this time no y shaped stuff on the trees. And I tried my best with the leaves, no value involved anyways.

Tree studies RETRY? Those are awesome dude, they got real character and individuality in those sketches. Real crisp line work and an eye for detail like the wee mushrooms, gr8 stuff ,m8. Going for a colour version?

Wow, you even have moss on those rocks (I think that's what it is). Great work.

nice work on the trees. Maybe you can focus on a different angle or composition of the trees in the environment. Maybe have a main focus on a tree in the foreground and then one or two in the middleground and then the others in the distance with less attention.

By the way, im trying to post some of my sketches on the forum but im not sure how to do it. I have tried checking out the FAQ section but i cant find any browse button on the post. and also the forum rules say i may not post attachments.. please help me!!

Chris Lee:
You can post a link to the images on your site, or you can post them by telling concept art where to find your image on your website, by typing in the webaddress.
WHen you post you go to the button in the post section labeled IMG, click it and it will lead you on.:) Hope this helps, anyone feel free to add or correct if I'm missing anything.

Very cool trees. The trunks have a lot of character, they'd make a great setting for something... and they stand on their own as being realy interesting too. It'd be nice to see them in color too.;-)
