So, I was thinking about robots. Then I started drawing a very basic, and very recycled robot. Then I started adding things to said robot. Now, it looks like this:

Now, I need a background, a setting, something, anything.
I was thinking of drawing a little robot avatar to go with him, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
All well, the C+C, yadayada, blah blah, are accepted.

Some might say that I, oh, do enjoy all the negative attention I get around here. I finally get a reply to my post.
Thank you.

Well, now that I got that little nasty remark out of my system, I think I'll post up a more recent version of above robot.

Hehe.
By the way. That's supposed to be laser in the BG, but I got all ass-backwords-screwed-up and it's way out of perspective. Not that I was actually drawing in perspective, but it's still a bit confusing. I apologize if it gives you headaches.
Aspirin is on me.

I was going to suggest a junk yard backround for it but huge evil laser works too.
The robots really different than what most people draw when doing robots but its a good difference and i like the extra robot(i think thats what it is) floating next to him in the latest version.

Zeb, i like those robots. I'd up the contrast a bit, cuz they are pretty hard to see. Even though it's just a sketch, you might still want to watch your perspective, it can only make your drawing better.
MuffinMan though, what is up with you? Bashing someone just because is not what i consider constructive criticism. I had a quick look at your previous posts, and it's either fanboyism or bashing. I haven't looked at every post, but i don't think you posted something yet. If you don't want to be underestimated, i'd do something about it.
Oh and that MegaTokio Webcomic sucks badly. :D

I did that, uh, sketch in a 4H pencil. I've been meaning to ink it, but inking is so tedious and what not. So, I understand the lack of contrast thing. Seriously, how much contrast can you get with one pencil?! Especially one as hard as a 4H...
That's why I mentioned a headache somewhere above, it gets kind of hard to look at sometimes.
Oh, and as for the perspective, I initially hadn't planned to really add any more dimension than the two robots. But when I put the laser in the BG, then gave the laser a third dimension it got all out of wack. If I ever redo the picture, or make another robot-esque image, I'll definitely pull out the ol ruler and mark up so perspective.
Now, I'm off to consider Inking that thing.
Oh, and thanks for a positive reply.

So, inking flew out the window.
Then I remember I know how to use PhotoShop.
So, I added some slight color, well gray values. And a little blue. It's real quick, like fifteen minutes so don't expect to much.

ha.
i've met the dousche bag too a few times, its not like he's a superhero or anything he's a poor balding fat no talent hack with the most overrated webcomic in existence.
anyway.
not bad zeb, but contrast would really help. there are more pencils then 4h and i know for a fact you have all of them.

zeb- not bad, good overall design. One suggestion though, when using the grey markers, remember that less is more. I always start out with a 10 or 20 percent grey, and reserve the darker tones for the shadows. Also, this would be a great piece to ink, if you still have the pencil version, you should give it a go.
Muffman- it's like ancient kitten said, if you don't want to be underestimated, DO something about it. Post up.

I only own a black Prismacolor marker.
And several different sized Micron pens for lines.
The grey in that image is from PS. I understand completely though, less is more. I'll be sure to remember that for next time.
Thanks.
