this is my first ever clay modeling but it felt pretty natural and really fun as hell. So far the only type of modeling I ever do is in 3D but this was really fun.

Needless to say its not finish yet and eventually this will be transformed into bronze. (I’m only making a bust though)

if you guys have any inputs or ideas, beam them my way.

hey thats a good start. very cool style. i would make the neck and turn it into a bust that can sit on a flat surface.

If this is in fact your first attempt at clay sculpture, then you have a bright future ahead of you. :D

My advice would be to pick up some rubber tipped brushes of various sizes and use those with a bit of corn or mineral oil to smooth out lumps and get some nice flesh folds.

Can't wait to see the progress on this work!
