amazing work , nice studies, great sb :)
July 28th, 2012, 07:54 AM
I just looked at all 17 pages of this thread! And your work is fantastic! Its very inspiring, and has inspired me enough to start a sketchbook and get back into drawing, after a two year hiatus!
I think the perspective sketch is pretty good, i'm like that about my drawings as well, even though they're good sometimes i think there's something missing, or it's not enough. But you know what, just keep practicing at it! Keep up the great work, and thanks for inspiring me!

Matija Vuk: Thank you!
i_Imperator: Thank you for nice words! I hope to see a link to your sketchbook someday)))

Just trying out new brush, quick sketch
August 16th, 2012, 08:02 AM
Very nice updates girl! I love all the pencil sketches but especially the muscle studies. It feels like you're going a tad overboard on the textures in your recent experiments, but then sometimes you have to push it too far to figure out where the line is. The texture in the last one is really nice - subtle but effective. The two recent portrait studies have a wonderful sense of form and value, but watch the proportions - the placement and size of the ear is a bit weird in post #501 and the last one feels a bit squashed vertically and the eyes are on a slant. Anyway, wonderful work, it's always a pleasure to stop by and see what you're up to! :D

If I'm correct about this, I think I'm seeing excellent improvement. For some additional drawing ideas you might take a look at my book about the teaching of Frank Reilly of the Art Students League in New York. Here's are some recent examples of the results of his teaching... Doug Higgins www.dhfa.net

Your progress is amazing o_O
Can't wait for more! ^_^
May 2nd, 2013, 09:49 AM
You have a nice sketchbook here!
Tons of improvement over the course of it!
The only thing in your work that I can suggest you work on, is that your character's poses are a bit stiff.
I find that quick gesture drawings, when done to learn the flow of the body, are really good to help this!
I really like your last two portraits, the texture is really nice.
Keep up the good work! Fill more pages!
May 13th, 2013, 05:26 PM
That sel-portrait looks pretty damn good to me : ) and your studies look pretty good too. I think you should push your values though and go darker. Also would like to see you post more often : P Anyway keep it up, because this stuff looks great : )

More speed-paints and studies...
October 4th, 2013, 03:48 PM
Especially in your environmental work, your more recent enviro sketches have started having a greater sense of a focal point. I also think you have an effective use of ambient and reflective light you work.
October 6th, 2013, 09:21 PM
Wow. You have some excellent speedpaints on here! I have to say my favorite piece has to be this snail-droid here. XD I lovez him! Somehow, I kinda feel like offering him a cup o' tea :>
