Time to start a new sketchbook. Been inactive for way to long and hoping to start my engines once again.
All critics/suggestions are much appreciated.

Lets start of with a selfportrait I did a few days ago.

Hey. Pretty neat self-portrait, though I think it might do better with some darker values on the face/clothing since the heavy black of the BG/hair seems to make everything else look really, really grey. Otherwise, I think it looks great - you dealt with the folds particularly well. I can't really think of anything else to say. I hope you go ahead and update with a few more images so more helpful people can advise you! :teeth:

Thanks :D I was already wondering what made the face look so flat :p I think next time I'll make the background a dark grey instead of pure black, thanks for the advice :)
