Spiffy @:-D I used to do this, but sadly fell out of the habit. Even had a few self portrait covers. Guess that'd make it easier to find/stalk me if I ever managed to lose it.

I used to do the same thing. i would make elaborate covers out of plain computer paper which was my favorite thing to draw on, then laminate them and bind them at staples and have my own custom made sketchbook. Then i discovered moleskine sketchbooks and have been using them and other leather bound sketchbooks since.

this was on one i ordered from dickblick i also got the regular moleskine sketchbook and the pocket one and i guess i havent figured out whats the big deal about them i like my other sketchbooks just as well
