Hey everyone! This is my first post, and im just a 15 year old noob compared to all the pros on this site, so i probably shouldnt be here... but heres some of my stuff anyways.

wow, those are some mad baggy boots and gloves, man. First thought: she seems a bit short for her head (or her head seems small for her body =p)

You might pay attention to the placement of muscle on the second guy, and maybe also to the placement of folds. Rewst easy, though, you're far better at drawing people than I was when i was 15, heh. I love the guy's facial expresion, too.

thanks for the tips... i noticed she seemed a little short too. i seem to make heads too big in general, theres just so much that can be put into faces that i get too focused on them... and they end up too big.:rolleyes: and yes, those are some of the weirdest gloves/boots i have made. i was going for something more stylized, maybe final fantasy-ish.

youve what i think is the beginnings a great feel for motion looking at the second pic. But by studying anatomy i think you could really take your art to another level relatively quickly (e.g. 4-6 months). focusing on proportions, and getting that 'natural' look to your humanoid creatures.

thanks for the advice. i agree that all art involving any sort of character (even super-cartoony stuff) is a lot easier once you master realistic anatomy and life drawing... i'll try to do more realistic stuff, but unrealistic characters are so fun :D

and 'sides this place isnt to show off your work but to improve it
...and at our youngin age i can see some similarities between my work and yours, zand only be time before we surpass all of these people :D
