I don't really expect any critique, I just see a lot of potential inspiration on these forums so figured I should post my sketchbook in kind, in case some day I'm good enough to inspire someone else. I won't be posting every little thing, and I probably won't be posting often. An introduction:

Good evening, my name's Dennis. I'm an Arabic linguist in the US Air Force, 21 years of age, currently located in CA. I have always 'kind of liked' art, in the same way that the average person 'kind of likes' music, but isn't going to get up and learn an instrument because of it. I've sketched a bit, but never with any particular intent; simply doodles which eventually grew to resemble art more so than they did scribbles. As far as I can recall, I've tried most traditional artistic mediums one time each in my life. Each, I hated. Were it not for my recent purchase of a tablet PC, I would guess that I would never advance beyond sketching. In any case, I decided to learn the basics of painting via some of the conceptual tutorial-like threads on this forum. I havent got to that yet, but I will. And so, my first work for this sketchbook is also the first artistic thing I've done on my tablet PC, as well as my first attempt at painting since middle school. I used artrage for the whole process this time, but intend to use sketchbook pro and photoshop in the future, with some block painting or texturing done in artrage.
