Simon Bisley influence, much? Cool piece.

Could be immigrant worker. From Alpha centauri certainly.
Tried to mix equal parts Games Workshop with Bisley. I see now that the color works i've done lately are not as interesting as this one. Have to get back to doing sketching and volume. Add color later..

This is pretty damn great! I usually don't go for the oversized sword-guy type thing but this is a very original and energetic illustration. I can tell there's some Bisley influence with the contrast and grain and it definitely works well here.
I guess the one thing I'm wondering about is the kind of motion occuring with the sword. It's broad side is faced towards us and when I look at the arcing blood, I'm thinking it'll lead to the bloody stump on his victim. It's a little hard to figure out what it's doing.
Again, great piece. Keep it up.

exo: I see what you mean. I was going for that classical samurai move. He has just had his victim skewered on the sword and pulls it out, straightening and turning his back. You know the final move. after slicing through 20 enemies single handedly (handly, handely, hngrfhl.. wtf). anyway, thanks for your reply.

Great work as usual. You could have pushed the direction of movement a bit further though.
See you tomorrow, old timer...

Looks nice, but I really don't think you should borrow from Bisley so much, as there are countless Bisley imitators.
I do like the idea of mixing Bisley with the Games Workshop art, though.
My only real problem is that it doesn't read or flow as well as it probably should, and it perhaps is a bit too cartooney for its own good.

I only meant to make fun of joe who is an uncurable comic artist. and a great one at that!
I'm trying to find a nice balance between the two (Biz and GW) and make it a style of my own one day. But i rarely have time to do anything but quick sketches. I got something going this weekend though. Think I managed to get some Foster into it as well..:D
