hmmm i think there should be a section in the activities and daliy area where you draw what comes to mind when listening to music....


basically: you list the song, artist, genre of the song, etc. then you show what you have come up with from the inspiration the song has given you....


good idea? ...or no?

That sounds like a great idea. I wont be able to take part of it. But I definately think there should be something like that on this board.

This is probably an impossible task, but I think it would be real cool to have a topic be like:
"<Name of Song/Band>" Then everyone would listen to that one song and draw what comes to their mind. That way you can see the difference between everyone's mind as they listen to the song.

But, maybe we could have something like this:
Music And Art > Pop >Songs/Bands
Classical
Metal
Rock
Punk
etc

Under the "Songs/Bands" people would make topics according to their favorite songs or bands. For example:
My one of my favorite songs is by the Misfits, a punk band. Its called Last Caress. The title would go something like this : "Misfits: Last Caress", or if I wanted to post just a band name: "The Misfits".

I think its a great idea and I'd love to participate. Hopefully I could talk my mom into letting me use her digital camera.

Yeah abstract as in automatism or veristic surrealism where things actual have shape and form? Could be a good idea for a dsg or something, however to create an entire activity daily based on it may be difficult.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea at all to me. I'd give it a shot.... could be interesting to see what everyone comes up with.

I guess it all depends on how popular this would be. I think it should go all or none. Because, if we choose one song and put it in the DSG. No one will have that song or it will be too much of a hassle to d/l it. And if we just choose a genre and ask people to draw. Its not going to give us very interesting results.
