Hi everyone,
Since installing CS4, I've noticed several performance issues that I never had in PS CS1. The most significant involves shortcuts.
Firstly, I've noticed that the shortcuts aren't as responsive as before. I tend to press the "d-b-e" keys a lot (custom eyedrop, brush, eraser) when I paint or draw, and switching between the two can lag sometimes, especially if pushed in quick succession.
Most importantly, however, sometimes pressing one key will end up with a different tool altogether. For instance, when I press the "e" key (for eraser), the eyedropper will show up; pressing it again returns it to the eraser.
Also, sometimes when panning with the spacebar, the screen zooms out entirely and shows me where the screen will zoom in on if I release my pen from my tablet using a small rectangle. I don't know if this is a feature or what, but this only happens sometimes, so it's not even consistent.
I've looked for updates and searched the net, but can't find solutions. Any help is very welcome and appreciated! Thanks! :)
ps: I'm running on Vista, with a dual core 2.0 Ghz machine with 3 GB RAM and an Nvidia 8600m GT vid card - not a beastly machine, but certainly shouldn't be causing bugs like this to appear.
