I'm planning on moving out to BC in about two years, but I'm looking into the art schools and their requirements now, just to get an idea of what's out there.
I'm not entirely sure what I want to do, but I've been leaning more and more towards concept art and design, whereas I have been more tomards the animation side in the past. I was in animation for the autumn of 2002, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I managed to fall into a deep depression that caused a year long art block even after I'd recovered.
So, I've sort of been looking at the Art Institute of Vancouver, but so many people have widely differing opinions on the school. I'd like some stories on experiences at the Vancouver site, if they're out there.
Also, I'd like to keep myself open to other schools as well. Tell me your experiences elsewhere, and tell me where to find their website. ^^ I'm not set on Vancouver, but I would like it to be around that area.
