Ahh, a fellow Belgae

These are nice . Europe is full of really cool environment stuff to use as reference. Use these ideas and tweak em a little to make it an imaginary place, using the same characteristics. I'd like to see how you would interpret that.

What I've learned from the concept art guru's posts, is that they take the familiar to the next level. make something new and fresh, using elements that we are familiar with. This makes the new idea very atractive.

Keep posting. Don't get frustrated on the replies (or lack thereof) Just keep trying to outdo yourself and post your stuff, "they" will come around.

This is something andrew wyth talks about and that
is dynamics in a painting.

His looks real but there are slight shifting of objectis
to make it fit better.

the botttom of the arch could be raised so the top
of the opening higher.
the first blue door on the left could replace the window.
the lamp on the wall pulled back in not to cover the shade.

the tree on the right moved ahead past the door
fitting in the front of the arch just after that door.
so your eye is pull to the left wall and were the tree
is now removed.

Doors on the left that are great could be inlarged
cheated to give more dynamics to them.
artistic liences as you will.

the first door on the left as you go to the base of it
cound have flowers in it or removed door widened.

Im not saying you have to do this at all.
it great the way it is. but if you never thought of
doing it you know now.

same with the first picture walls inlarged widened to give
envasies and others narrowed or height shortened.

doors you like could be bigger.

it cheating but gives it more dynamics.

hope im explaining it right.
one painting of wyth with nothing but a door and a old
woman sitting at the base. He made that door twice as wide
and it look so much like she was in a door. if he left it
she be so wide in it.

hope your getting what i mean.
windows left out.
doors that perspective is narrowing with in frames
could be wider only to a tad you dont want a fish eye
look.
great stuff i really like these two.
