Hey everyone, I am new here and I wanted to present the following camera shots from my sketchbook. I would really appreciate comments and especially criticisms(please don't hold back). I recently decided to make a more serious effort in advancing my drawing skills as I feel that I am doing a disservice to myself by not practicing more.

I will try and update as much as I can and thanks in advance for any comments!

Here are some figure drawings, I have been more focused on drawing the figure lately as I just can't get by drawing anything else without getting it right....

I really want to get back into working the figures better, does anyone know of any guides or books they know of other then just drawing from real life on my own(which I will still definitely be doing)?

Nice start there Juan, you have some understanding of the figure and drawing it from life already. With time your line quality will get better as well. Don't be afraid to start making bold marks instead of petting the lines.

As for books, the staples everyone recommends are all the books by Andrew Loomis which I know you can find many links to around the forums and and George Bridgeman. Personally I feel like the latter has helped me out more but take a look at them both and try to work with them.
