before coloring you should start with a firm structure, and before the structure there should be a gesture full of life.

Hello Friends,

I am very new to this sketching.... above sketches are some of those which i got interest n thought of sketching it.... few comments received suggests me to work on gestures... shading etc.... Will be open to receive valuable suggestion, bcos the guys in this forum are fabulous, who have loads of exprience behind them.

It would be great if any one of you give me pointers to look into for those information, to develop my skills in this field of expressing.

thanks n regards

Heya Naveen
I strongly recommend working on gesture before than shading. As Glenn Vilppu said It's the first step, the most important, the most easy to say, but the most difficult to achieve.

Well and the most important, if you are looking for information you should download this tutorial from Erik Gist is really GREAT.

Hello Friends

After many days i am sketching, today it's my birthday. It was a low profile celebration as my internal feelings are not that great. The build up to the new year and my bday was not that enthusiatic, as it used to be in my previous celebrations. I lost few of my fav ppl around... uploading 2 sketches of my fav person. one drew by seeing the photo and 2nd is my imagination, i had seen this photo of her's when she uploaded in facebook, which i captured it in my mind.

Bcos of some inconvincing reason, we moved apart. I don't want to force her to do anything. But still have the same respect and my feelings to her will always be the same.. May god bless her with all happiness in the world.

I thought she would be my inspiration whole life.. with sadness this would be my last sketch for the time being. I am deeply hurt. She looks far far better than the sketch..

Thanks for all the suggestions...
