Someone asked me on another forum why I hadn't posted my latest portrait here and I thought, "Hmm... I dunno. Why didn't I post it?" :p

Latest piece inspired by Gil Elvgren (although a little bit of me peeked out). The hair is not finished, which is probably obvious. I rushed through the ending of this because I was tired of working on it. Overall though, I'm pretty happy with it, mainly the body rendering which is where I spent almost all of my time.

that really is an amazing piece
it looks very realistic so shading/lightning and anatomy is just right. It does look a little unfinished at some places (like the hair) though. It's prolly just me, i'm very fond of detailed pieces.`

edit: i forgot to read your own comment on the piece.. ignore the obvious bits. stupid me

Wow, yah, the body is rendered wonderfully.
Very realistic..no flaws that I can see =)
The eyes, lips, and (obviously..) hair look very unrefined though..and Id love to see you do more work on this =D!
Its all up to you though..but keep in mind, youve got a possible masterpiece on your hands =P

wow! this is really nice! i can already tell that your eye for anatomy has improved greatly! very nice modeling of the form. my teacher brought an elvgren book to class the other week. very nice! yes, please finish. you rock hard!
