were you holding the camera for the photo you did this from? not that that's a bad thing but it looks like flash photography which doesn't give as much form as a light source that isn't right front and center. looks like you handled it well though. you gonna frame it and give it to your girlfriend? any how keep up the good work and do a drawing from direct observation of your girlfriend. that way you can set up good lighting.

yes I did take the pic of us...and she is letting me draw her soon enough so i will get practice
