Maybe the people who live there are professional skateboarders?

That is Hilarious!! The angle looks like 45 - 50 degrees. There is NO WAY a car could drive up that, unless they have a Humvee!!

Actually It looks more like 20 degrees to me and a car could drive up that slope, but actually getting the front tires on it would be a problem considering the sharp shift from flat to sloped. I'm sure somebody got fired.

Imagine that in the winter with snow and ice. They got themselves a nice little jehovah's_whitness deterrent.

OK you're right the angle is 25 degrees. In MOST home construction the grade should be around 7-10. I'd like to see the face of the homeowner pulling up in a Mazda Miata. They'd have to hinge the car in the center to pull up the driveway.

Hah! yah dude,, the front bumper would hit the driveway before the front tires could even make connection..

Where IS that ??? With all the developments sprouting everywhere it's not surprising some are made by wannabes/screwups..

Man, I bet if you were to get a dirtbike and ride it up the drive way REAL fast, you could fly over the house. That would be so cool.

Hell yeah! It'd be the only house on the block where you could host the X-games!

Well, now that i think about it, it does remind me of the Tony Hawk games. Ever wondered where they put the quarter pipes in your hometown? Yes, it's time to shut down the playstation and go outside…

Your telling me skakeboards exist outside of Tony Hawk's games?!

You know, I do architechual concrete. I am ashamed to be a Concrete Man right now after seeing these... atrocities. I only put 5 inches of drop every 9 feet in most cases (and we get buku rain here). With a driveway you don't even need fall... what the hell was someone thinking? There should be a parking spot and some steps winding *up to* the house. Cripes, I'd have fired someone for that. That last one is pushing a 45 angle. I don't see how that could've passed building code or inspection.

Actually, there are a lot of houses around my area that have drive ways that steep. Ours is pretty dam steep as it is. I looked at the photos and wondered what was so wrong. I can take some photos tomorrow if you would like. Yes we Aussies are all crazy ;)

:bash: Architect :bash:
you turn the corner to pull into your driveway, floor it to make it up the driveway (ignoring the fact that the arse end of your car has bottomed out on the change of grade), then slam on the brakes so you don't drive out the other side of the garage.
.... and hope that you remembered to press the automatic door opener in time

yep im australian too, and we have plenty of steep driveways a lot steeper than that. admittedly there isnt such a sharp transition from flat to slope, but the angle is much greater.
