The colors are working nicely. Her waist seems a little small. The hair stands out too much; maybe it's the color or the detail.

Hey Endregan, thanx so much for understanding it :chug:
I know it's a tricky viewpoint but I find it interesting because it brings (well, to my humble point of view and this is what I tried to do) a feeling of a very small area around. This is also why I chose that kind of high key light source.

she's beautiful!

I love how her red red hair stands out against the green of the rest of the painting. And of course those hands are gorgeous as well. Wonderful :D

Wow....!

She looks soo beautiful. So soft, and great eye for the details man. I love the attention you gave to the arms. The color harmony is great as well, all that green really stand out from the red. Nice colors!

My only crit/suggestion is that I wish her hips/stomach region was a little more defined. At the same time, because it is a tad more loose than the face, it brings our eye to the face. So in those respects, great job! :)

Looking forward to you next piece.

P.S How long did this take?

Very, very nice

Love the subtle color variation, texture work and the lightning.

Maybe you could bring some of the subtleness to the hair too 'cause I think it (the hair) right now is inbetween stylish and realistic. Take the hair abit in either direction and the painting will come better together, I think...

I'd say something like 6 hours, with photo ref' of course. I have to admit that this painting is what I'd call a "happy incident" (there's a word for that in english for sure but I don't know it). I mean I didn't expect the result you can see when I begun the painting, especially concerning the color scheme. In fact I'm feeling really tired of using this green/red gimmick I always fall into. But this time I'm happy because I think I found a way to achieve some subtlety.

gasp ! talking way too much again... thx everyone for the kind replies.

ah! such beauty. you are making my experimenting seem like wading in the the kiddy end of the pool. your feet stopped touching the bottom a long time ago and you have been swimming laps around me.

one thing, i am a little distracted by the sharpness of her face as compared to the edges on her body. maybe more subtle of a transition. i do think that you can have contrasting edges but in this case it separates her head from her body.
