it appesrs you added a skull, a longer sword and some nick nacs... i mean being inspired by something is ok but you stole too much in my mind. even the rust on the armor was directly copied.

The pose has been done to death anyways. I'd let it go.

davi it's a fair cop guv, it's an almost straight copy because that is what my mate asked for, he has almost zero imagination and only wanted some slight citadelish alterations. I'd have prefered something like these crappy pose sketches.

He also asked me to do a clone wars padme based on a J S Campbell drawing.

Davi, I really don't think he "stole" anything. I've personally found that copying is the best way to learn from the masters or anyone who is better then you. Plus, he gave credit to the artist.

Paddy, I think that you shouldn't be limited to the ways you practice. As long as your practicing. Doing copies or alterations to other drawings is sort of like using training wheels on a bike.

From seeing your original work, I think you should be studing more anatomy more. Though I think you already have, considering that you use structural drawings. Maybe specifically studing a skull and apply that in your first drawing. Hands seem like a problem for you also. They're a pain in the ass for everyone but you have 2 references of them right in front of you. ;)

In your drawing with the woman, her right wrist seems to be missing.
