3 hours i guess. still pretty loose.. i think i took an hour trying to get the eye to look 'correct', yet i still couldn't get it to look nearly as good as sargent's piece.

very cool study

couple things i noticed:
the head is a bit too long, and its straight up and down. his head is looking down a bit.
also, his eyes look slightly too close together, its hard to tell.
thats just what i noticed first off.
this is lookin good man.

i really didn't spend as much time i should have on placement, concentrated alot on how he picked his colors and such.

for some reason the picture i found on the internet has so much less purple then the one i used as refernce :P

imho u shuld smudge the orange-pink-whatever ;) color under her eyes more - its shape seems to straight 4 me.

very hard to get such a piece done - and u did a good job so far :chug:

yeah, now that i can stand back from the piece there are alot of things i wish i could have seen while doing it.
