this is soemthin ive been diddlin around with, and i neeeeeed some help from yall. There are acouple things off with the drawing so far, and some things i dont quite know what to do with.

im open to any suggestions, id like to make this as successful as i can :)

Oh man, any chance of a detail on the creature's face?

Looks awesome so far. A little awkward because, well, it looks like a man riding on top of another man-like thing. But the concept doesn't look so alien that it would be beyond the realm of possibility.

For that, I say, kudos =D

i agree it looks like alittle guy on top of a big guy, you should try to give the rided, more creature like details,

but dont get me wrong i love it!!!! and im totally jealous of your skills!

thanks dudes :) yeah those hands have been somewhat of a known issue.... but more of a "eh ill get back to it later" thing. i see what you mean though, ill reblock that out when i start workin the legs.

i got some good pointers from jay hawk (hawkprey) today at work, and i think i have a direction id like to take this in now.

im going to turn the rider's head to profile, jack his mouth open and dangle his tongue out (just cause i love drawing that), and turn the beast's eyes more toward the viewer. Im doing this partially because the beast is usually the 'dumbass' creature looking away and just doing its job, and the rider is usually the focus. Im shifting that, making the rider look like the jackass warslaughter dude, and the beast the one with the brains (despite its head size :))

the right leg is also straight fucked, im going to swivel it around and put it more on the same plane as the left leg, but a little spread to show more weight.

ill post the progress as i get it, gonna be pretty damn busy the next week or so with work and the super bowl though... ill do what i can! :) this badboy will be done, and hopefully in full color with background (somethin i have never done before)

as for detail shots, after i get this all roughed out to a grayimage, i plan on cropping it down and doubling the size, the painting in color with the intentions of printing this guy out pretty big on some mattecanvas, satin paper, or maybe if im feeling frisky get a light jet print of it... maybe edition some at a smaller scale and sell em. who knows, ill figure it out as i go :) ill post details as i progress and get to that stage :)
