I'm looking for some good books that cover figure drawing and the skeletal and muscular structures of children of various ages. I've had a hard time finding any such books, most books only include men and women in their late twenties. Are there any good exceptions or websites with references that you can recommmend? Thanks.

well childrens muscle structure is the same i imagine its not like they are going to have hundreds of muscles adults have. Skeletal system is largely the same as well, just stink everything, keep the head a little larger though. I think loomis talks about children briefly btw.

I don't know of any books devoted to children solely but Figgure Drawing for all its worth and Drawing the head and hands have sections on child proportions Same with Will Pogany's Drawing Lessons which is a Dover book now I believe.

Gottfried Bammes Der Nackte Mensch features skeletal and proportions and the like of children in various ages. Muscles are kinda the same as the adults, so I think that as long as you got that, then you can apply it on the proportions and skeletons of children.
