IDEA : Stats?

Just an idea..I recently ran it by Davi in IRC, but hes not responded yet, so I figured Id make a thread to see what you all think.

I was thinking something fun, or at least interesting, the admins could do would be to have monthly IRC stats? I know they have like precoded scripts or log scanners or something that you can customize yourself depending on the nature of the channel (like we could have something like "MOST LIKES TO SPAM ART" that would scan for .jpg or .gif etc.. links)

I know the channel isnt that particularly exciting or active currently, but hopefully that will change. Hell, I know that will change!

Also, if anyone here is a PHP coder with alot of free time (and love and devotion for conceptart.org!!) on their hands, they could possibly help out in making a monthly forum stats script? That would scan the forum logs or something for both basic and some comical/interesting facts?

Who knows, Im just tossing ideas out here..Id like to here your opinions and your own ideas for the site!

Lol, another dumb idea that just popped into my head after my recent "discovery" of opencanvas...
If some of the great artists here could find the free time (and patience =P), maybe we could have like some "Paint with the Masters" sessions!
Hehe..stupid idea, but I know that I would kill to be in an OC session with the great Android and Jason Manley!

Making the stats page is pretty easy but has no real purpose.... I could do it sometime though...

About Jason and Android doing a open canvas with everyone... that's probably not going to happen. Open canvas usually is only good at supporting 2 or 3 people... even then it crashes, and i doubt/KNOW they don't have the time to go around OC'ing with people.

I know it would be great but members like Jason and Andrew really don't have the time to "screw around" on the net. I've very surprised with andrew's busy schedule he has the time to do his portraits. Kudos for his efforts on them, but what could be a possibility is that they get open canvas, do a piece and upload the .wpe(event file) to show their work, but that would be their choice and their choice alone.

Oh hell yah man..if they could find the time for that, I would die of excitement!! Actually Id probably just pee my pants.
I wonder if theyd do it if I send them a christmas present...
