dual moniter question: they aint the same color! wtf? moniter calibration...

i'm having problems getting my two moniters to match. one's a samsung, the other's a hewlett packard. they're running at different resolutions, different refresh rates, probably different color temperatures or whatever... 9300k 6300k if those numbers mean anything...

any suggestions?

Maybe the problem is you have two completely different montiors made by different companies.

You CAN try to get the two monitors showing quite the same but when they´re both themselves are not calibrated it isn´t worth the effort. At least they both should have the same colour-temperature ...

Otherwise try to calibrate one of your monitors (the better one of course ;)) to your own system and use the other just for palettes etc.

yah,, i got the same problem on my home machine.. they will never match.. it is futile to try.
