neat. id say tone down the canvas grain. its overpowering the faint detail in the background and detracting from the depth . nice technique tho.

Looks corrupted :(

Despite this minor glitch, I adore your work. Beauty in simplicity and nice touches. :)

Another sweet painting Jean-Francois :D

I personally like the heavy grain on the image. Gives it a nice gritty feeling.

What brushes do you use though?

I thoroughly enjoyed it! My only remark would be that Japanese ink painting is traditionally done on rice paper. Not that you have to follow tradition, I like the texture of this composition

Very nice work. The lines used on the stones and tree are really nice.

Do you use Photoshop or Painter?

The painting looks very nice man the canvas may look slightly overpowering but hey the whole mood is very nicely captured.

tx all again! Help me a lot to progress and learn!

>chapel : Yes you are right for the use of rice paper, but I wanted to mix these differents cultures, it"s perhaps because
of my parents?

>Botkins : I used Photoshop only. For some brushes you'll recognize the basic leaf brushes and grass.

your work is beautiful. simple, but very complex in the decisions you make. it is not easy to create such harmony.
