So we're a young comic publisher and we'll be launching 2 books in March of 2010 nationwide: The Daring Robot Hunters, and 3:33.
We are trying to get another book in production to launch at around the same time and are looking for an artist. We're hoping to find someone who can do pencils, inks and colors for us. The goal is to have two issues completed by the time we launch and be working on the 3rd. Each book will run monthly for 5 months, with a trade paperback to follow. After that, there will be a 2-3 month break while we get the machine started up again and run another batch of 5.
There is no money up front, but you will receive a hefty percentage on the backend in perpetuity, and a piece of any money made on merchandise and in the event of the property being optioned you will also receive a bonus.
The book is a weird west carnival tale set in a wasteland desert Meta-Earth. There will be mostly beasts and frontier folk throughout the whole series, so please gear your submissions accordingly.
Our staff includes the current head writer of the Muppet King Arthur books from BOOM! and a writer from JLU.
