I was in Gamestop yesterday and I spent a good 10 minutes holding Modern Warfare 2 in one hand and Left 4 Dead 2 in the other trying to decide what I wanted more.

The good people at Valve have never lead me astray before so I decided to go with Left 4 Dead 2. After I came upon a chainsaw I knew I made the right choice. I played a little offline Co-op and some single player (I tried co-op, but I think everyone and their grandma bought this game and was Xbox Live at the same time so the Lag was unbearable, hopefully this won't be an issue for long).

So I'm sure there have been more than a few CA memebers already knee deep in dismembered zombie bits. How has the experience been so far? Anyone else had the same problems I did with Xbox Live lag?

If you're setting up your own game, go the the game options and switch from the default dedicated server to the local server option. Works every time.

I got it preloaded on Steam yesterday. There's definitely some lag, but this game is really popular, so you can kind of expect that.

If there's any problem with it, it's that I've been really busy lately and haven't had much time to play it.

I've played a couple hours of this game now and I must say I'm very impressed. I'm finding though that this game is so intense that it is a little hard to play for more than an hour or so without a break. Not too many games out there I can say that about.

The game looks great!! Cant wait to get it and start bashing zombies with that frying pan!! The game is really a lot more fun on live, so that will be why there are so many people playing it there. Its not as fun when you play it on your own, it seems like it was designed with live specifically in mind.
