what kinds of things should a concept artist-wannabe START and practice with? (ex: geom. shapes, etc.)
*hint, i'm a concept artist-wannabe* :)
I'm EXTREMELY new to the idea of getting serious into drawing and really don't know what to practice...
any help is much appreciated!

I'd suggest choosing a medium to start out with, such as a pencil or charcoal. Then find out what it can do. See how light you can make marks and see how dark they can get. Make seven or eight boxes of shading, ranging from white to black. Also see how thin or thick of lines you can make. Learning to the technical aspects of your tools is an important first step.

4 environments: perspective, 1, 2, and 3 point..gotta have at that skill
ur eye for composition, lighting, drawing the eye to the main subject of each piece is important...
