This is my third attempt at trying to post a thread here. I don't know why the first two never showed up. If it's true that it needed an admin to allow it to be posted up here, then it's taking quite some time.
So I'm trying to post this one and start posting actual drawings and stuff later if this one actually shows up.
edit: wtf well that was instant compared to the first two I tried a few days ago. Goddam.
I'll start posting my works now. Really sorry for the trouble.

Well let me just introduce myself before I start posting stuff. So yeah, I'm quite new here and was actually really intimidated on even trying to join in here because of the sheer number of professionals working around here. I used to thought that my works are.. how you say... not suited to be put here.. Though, a friend of mine told me that it's not. It isn't about the work, it's how much you're improving yourself is what them people here want to see.
So I gave a shot and tried to post my thread two-three days earlier. And for some reason it never showed up. I noticed it said something it needed the admin's acceptance or something before the thread could be put up. So, I waited for a day or two and it never showed up.
But at least well now it works so eh..
So just let me post some of my recent works;
This one's been put up in an open art show in my college. It was quite alright,

This three were in the art show as well, and the arab man one caught most attention for some reason 8u, (and I used to thought it was kinda inappropiate for the other two to be put in an open art show but people kept insisting me to put it up because you shouldn't be embarrassed of your own work they said, and that it looked alright hah)

Are those dark mutant things from ref? It reminds me of some WH40K artwork.
You got some nice cartoony stuff going on, nothing to say about that. Maybe play around with values a bit, it wouldalso be interesting to see you go at a few studies/pieces from reference. Keep drawing.

Ah thank you haha
And most of my works used a LOT of references, including the three charcoal works, and yes both of em demon like things are from warhammer 40000.. Ork Portraits! :D
And I do draw humans too, I just like drawing anthros and stuff because they're fun ;p
I'll try to put up references for my drawings if I can next time.

You've got some great work here. I like what your doing with the poses.
I'm not big on the subject matter, all the cutesy stuff, but it seems to be working for you. Have you tried combining your painting style (Like the ones that were in the art show) with your more cartoony style? Like doing one of the animal soldiers but with a lot of volume and thick shading. It could be interesting.
Maybe do some studies or sketches of fabric too?
Anyways, great stuff. Keep it up!

Wow, hmm never thought about that.. And research of realistic textures to put on kiddy cartoons.. wow that's deep hah.
Heh, I'll keep that in mind. Maybe if working with better textures a good idea.
also for tonight,
I've been learning how to INK..
http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/8495/inking.jpg
MANUALLY!
haha oh wow my drawings starting to look like cheap comics already I am so thrilled.
This was fun but I still need a lot of work with this.. Not to mention I wasn't actually using the proper inking tools(the sharp edgy pen and the brush).. I was more of using art pens and calligraphy pens llooool.
AND LOL HANDS AND ANATOMOOY.. Yeah I know all of them are wrong but I wasn't even focusing on that, I was practicing how to do live lines.
edit: and my god how fast did my thread fell, I had quite a time trying to track it among this lots of other people who update like everyday. I really need to update frequently :P

Even though I enjoyed inking this, I still feel unsatisfied.
Oh well, practice makes perfect.
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/6066/84521430.jpg
There's still lack of balance in my inkings. They look cluttered with the background with the subject itself. Think I got carried away by it ;p
I drew TC completely by memory so eh. Oh and hope you don't mind the contours haha..
And oh look I tried me drawing some humies
http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/175/humies.jpg
Good lord they look like ghouls from fallout 3 and bitches :<
Yea they're horrible but I'm trying okay D: THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I PREFER DRAWING ORKS AND UGLY PEOPLE.
PS; My god, I only left my thread for about a day and it's like it never existed. I tried using the search threads thing but it says it doesn't exist wat.. SO solution, I actually found this thread by searching in google B|
Oh well at least I know it's not deleted or anything.
btw how do you put thumbnails on threads? :O

SO I herd peoples are complainin me drawing too much furs.
Well, here's your answer, how bout that :)))))
http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/2013/nurgle.jpg
Nah kidding, anyway, had fun doing this.. maybe too much fun actually, that's why I kinda overdid the details oh well.
I was actually bit nervous on doing this one because I was thinking too much on getting it right. Then, I realizec that I shouldn't be thinking of how pretty it would look when it's finished, I should be thinking of what I could learn from my mistakes when it is finished.
Welp, enjoy your nurgle~
Oh papa nurgle, bless us with your plague and diseases.

lazy lazy lazy
http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/5888/vespao.jpg
I tried my very best to do this. Studying vespa just because I needed to practice drawing more technical stuff. Although this was supposed to be fun, art block and slump got in the way.
Mini-jurnal tiem,
Seriously for the first three to four weeks of the beginning of the semester holiday, I was really pumped to do some art, really I do. I updated like almost everyday until one day everything breaks down. I got lazy and into a slump or say an artblock.
So what IS this and how do I avoid this >:
anyway hopefully I can update more next time..

All of these are 10cmx10cm and they are for a weekly competition in one of my local magazines and I just wanted to participate just for lulz and that I was getting bored of looking at the entries that are mostly animu and big-eyed, flashy hairdo girl drawings, and all of em getting 'good' scores. 8u
So I thought oh hey I could do this so why not?
And I didn't want to resize these when showing them up here because.. well, I cared much for the line quality and when I tried resizing, the lines are destroyed by blocky pixels, so yeah enjoy the 10cm x 10 cm sized pictars.
So anyway, tell me what you think and probably how to better these before I submit them soon plz.
I'm still unsatisfied with the competition's limit size tho >:I Btw, I couldn't pick either to submit either three of these or to submit all at once simultaneously and let them choose which to show up in the mag.
Oh yeah and I know I messed up a few parts but eh.. Damn you unerasable pens. >:U
Oh hay now this thread has enough DAKKA(yeah, dakka fanart ;P)
http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/2609/dakkadakkadakka.jpg
This was for eid aidil adha even though I know, it's already late but eh..
