Hey folks. New scanner at work so I thought I'd try it out with some sketches from last years sketch book - random stuff drawn on the train to and from work. All Markers with hilights in either white gel pen or white pastel pencil. Comments and crits please!

Hey folks.
Glad you like 'em!
The markers are Tria Pantones - I used the cool grey set and the architectural set. The white is a Pentel Hybrid Gel (K118) and a white pastel pencil. The pastel pencil is particularly cool because you can smudge and blend your hilights.
The other thing I found was that building up the markers in layers and letting each layer dry before the next means you can mix any of the colours together ... that's how most of the shading was done - base colour, then grey shade, then base colour again etc.

Nice linework and great looking characters.
The comments on how you work are great too, I love using markers (for the speed) but have never produced such controlled colours.
Love the last one - the red female.
