I've been doing some technical illustrations lately for a folder about... well why don't you try and guess. It's a very common medical condition, but I don't think many know much about it. Check 'em out here (I probably should post a bigger version as well....u decide :))

okay I'll explain. I'm doing a instruction for people working with mentally challenged (ie not real hospital personel) that has diabetes.
This stuff is what u use when u got diabetes
.
The first thing is a gadget that measures the sugarlevels in your blood. The second blue thing is a pen u use to pierce the skin so that u can get that drop of blood the first gadget needs to measure. (kinda tricky to exlain this in english:))
the third thing is a syringe used to inject insulin into the body, and the last thing is a pen for injecting insulin.
I'm doing this as part of an instruction, for the personel working with these mentally challenged people, that can't handle their own diabetes. hope that cleared things up a bit :)

just imagine you carry a cellphone or a minidisc with you and you dont put it out your pockets even when you are at home. sometimes its bothering but better than the alternative way.
