CS4 self shift click.

So now that I got a new comp (with awesome specs) I decided to install creative suite 4 trial to see if it was worth the update. Now if i've had PS open and have been away from it for a bit (say I went to watch a 20-30 min video) when I come back, the first mark I make on the canvas will have a line from the right be made all the way to where I placed my mark, as if I was shift clicking. It happens whether I use a mouse or my stilus. Anyone else encounter this problem?
