Alright! Finally a Hollywood movie awards show that will recognize good work and give awards accordingly!

At the Golden Globes last night, Return of the King pulled in:

Best Picture / Drama
Best Director
Best Score / Soundtrack
Best Original Song

Let's hope Oscar is just as friendly!!! :D

i think rtok is going to push a new type of fantasy drive in the movie industry. the movie and game industry work usually the same.

One company does something 'OMG' and then 500 companies do something "oh wow...that's pretty neat' and 3000 do 'WTF'.

Watching ROTK get those awards last night has me thinking about some of the really cool scenes in that movie. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and who could forget how cool that was when they were lighting the beacons? Over the mountains, through the mist, and the music!!!! Aww man, that was so cool.

And you're so right Davi, let's hope they keep the garbage to a minimum though. Hellboy's the next big one in my book and that looks like it's going to be pretty good.
