Hi, I have one question.
I go to art school and so does my girl friend.
one day, she was asked to be a model for the class, (not naked) so she did. Now she's going to do more modeling, but with skin-tight suit. As her boyfriend, it bothers me, and I told her wearing that front of student who will observe her body for long time bothers me.
and she tells me that most of guys who is not liberal won't be bothered about it, and it's cultural difference because I came from Asia.
how do you think?
if you are in my shoes how would you feel?
I need your help and advise

It wouldn't really bother me. Although this is coming from a guy with an Indonesian g/f who would never do anything like that :p
If your g/f is faithful and trustworthy, then I really don't see any harm. It can actually be a massive ego trip. Think about it, your g/f is going to be posing in front of all these guys. Who gets her at the end of the day? You do. If she is honestly someone who you could not trust in a situation like that though, then I too would be a little worried.

think about it this way: if she's faithful, it can't do any harm, and if she isn't, well, it would have been a matter of time anyway! :p just mellow out and do some good life drawing man!

Seems to me people think you have a fine looking girlfriend.
They can look as long as they want but you're the one she's going home with ;-)

A different perspective of view:
If she really loves you and she knows that it hurts you, she wouldn't do this...
It's a problem to be solved by tolerance/respect...yours or hers...that's the question! :(

I don't know why you'd want to model. I'd rather be drawing.

who cares? everyone has to make minor compromises in a relationship.. if its something she wants to do and it really doesnt do any harm besides making you jealous,, then maby you should deal with your jealousy issue personally and let her do what makes her happy.. and if she is as willing to make the same sacrifices for you than you have yourself a healthy relationship..

She must be wearing a swimmingsuit when she's on the beach. And if she's goodlooking guys are bound to check her out. And the guy's checking her out on the beach are checking her out for completly diffrent reasons (and focusing in diffrent parts of the body) than the artists drawing her.
So you shouldn't worry about her posing in front of some artists.

Dude,
If your girl is hot and guys stare at her BE PROUD!!! Don't be ashamed!! And you feeling insecure makes you look less attractive to her. But if this is a moral issue to you, then that is a completely different matter. You have to ask yourself: are you moraly upset with this, or are you just insecure? If it's morals, then you two have completelt y different morals and you have a world of hurt ahead of you. But for sure you can tell her, it's got nothing to do with being "liberal".

I think -if you make a big deal out of it the problem will work itself out, she will end up leaving you for being over controling,
my advice, dont be possesive, be obsessive, draw her all the time, every momnet you can, make her your muse. and use your own jealosy to make yourself a better artist in the process. if you care about her you must be suportive in her decisions.
you are both artists, make your relationship as creative as possible

I think we cant really solve this problem without having seen her in that tight suit, please post some pics ;)
however, nothing more to say - i guess this could be called spam. You're her friend not them ;) so dont make a too big deal out of it.

Now, can we get a pic of your gf in the afformentioned skin-tight suit? I believe that that would increase the quality of the advice that we could give.
