i refrenced a feng zhu drawing for this but took some liberties while modeling it.
there are some issues with the armor i modeled.. im goin to redo the stomach gaurd, ankel boots, shoulder pads and weapons if i get around to it. and the texturing needs quite a bit of work but here is what i have so far

I think I like it mostly. his butt bugs me. but the work you did on the head is great. you should post the pics you refrenced.

Wow he looks great! Great modelling job! What program did you use and would it be possible to see some wires of him?

beautiful work and great topology on the model.
One question:
are all those elements of his costume part of the same body mesh? I mean are his shoulder pads, gauntlets and belts actually part of the same surface forming his body or did you model them after the body?
Thanks
Scott

there is an entire body and each armor piece is seperate..but if i had to combine them i could easily as each piece was originaly built off the body geometry. thats why the wires match up from the body to the armor

Nice work.. is this gonna be for a game? If so, is it a low-poly model or a high-res nurbs model? How many polygons is it?
As you mentioned the textures do need more work. Try to add some more detail to the skin texture and to the clothing equipment he has on. The clothing and equipment he has on looks a bit too clean. i would suggest adding some tears, wringles, on the metal add rust, scratches, etc. Also tone down the shine on the model. Right now it seems like its a plastic figure. Hope this helps!
