Hopebay's Sketchbook (Supportive crit welcome =])

Um… hey everyone? ^^; I've lurked around CA for a while so I'm finally deciding to post some of my work.

I'm currently taking AP Studio Art and I need to dedicate myself to my sketchbook. Though I usually avoid posting my art, I'm desperately in need of some good critiques. I want to know what you like about my work and what you think I need to improve upon. Though my teacher and admissions officials (@ National Portfolio Day) offered me great advice, I feel they could still have been more critical of my work.

I'm also in a funk about weather I should pursue art. =\ If I do attend art school I'm planning to major in illustration. I'm really struggling with this right now. I feel like I won't make it as an artist even though many of my classmates "admire" my work. I'll be talking to my teacher about it, so I'll let you know how that goes. =)

I'm currently working on the plague doctor image from my first post. I realized how BAD it looked when I posted it. It's amazing what the scanner can "reveal" about my art. =\ So I fixed the legs and added some more crows here and there. I'm planning to ink this, so if anyone has some crits, fire away! =)

Some 30 sec posemaniacs gestures. I really need to brush up on my anatomy... D: I'll be cracking open my Bridgman and Hogarth books again soon!

I really like the plague doctor sketch, and the birds are a nice touch.
I apologize, but my artistic knowledge is fairly lacking so I don't feel like I could give a helpful critique, but your sketches are really cool.
