Insanely Twisted Rabbit # 2, about 75% done with it.

Just color it soon, and stuff like that.

It's supposed to be a water elemental Rabbit.
You know can transform to water and stuff.

Well suggestions or something?
I was away for a while trying to improve my drawing skills.

I need some critique from you guys.

this piece has no photoshop involved in ANY way ( except for the logo), I just scanned it and swam.

well darkness when it comes to water
express contours of your shape with more curves heading in a direction giving a glimpe of flow and embrassing your character, just so we can feel more the interactivity
your work is good ,however let the pencil flow and try not to break but joint the water with the character.
that about it for now...

by the way it is a bad ass rabbit or what!??

thanks you for the words.

I will keep it on mind next time, this site has really helped me with inspiration, so if anyone has more criticism bring it.

I wanna learn from you pros.
Im only 20, so hopefully I will get to be half of what you are.

thanks

One thing that helps water read like water is how transparent it is, and how it refracts and reflects its surroundings. What if you had some kind of background in there?

Also water is so shiny, sparkling and glimmering in the sunshine. Again, a darker background would allow you boost your highlights to pure white. It would give you that reflective look.

Cheers

Damn, silverstylus stole the words outta my mouth =P
The biggest problem here is that..well, you cant tell where he changes to the water!
It just doesnt seem to flllooww, it just looks like you have the character (which is really cool and well done btw =D), and then this thing attached to him..which right now, I dont have any clue what that is lol.
I could give you suggestions if I had any clue how to draw water myself, but for now Ill just sit back and criticise, and keep an eye on this thread to hopefully figure it out =P
Keep up the good work man =D
