I'm putting this out to get some feed back. I wasn't too concerned with subject matter when putting this together, I am more concerned with smoothness and fluidity. I would appreciate your C&Cs. Thanks. :)

That last one was pretty cute :)
A crit on the first one would maybe be to make the leaves react to the weight of the water drop

smooth work razor leaf, I just think on the bottom leaf it is too cup shaped for the water to roll like it does, maybe slightly tilt the leaf so it reads better. Nice work and I like the fairy at the end poof. Nice work.

Thanks KellyX, I was thinking that it might read better if I put some water in the cupped leaf and then have the single drop roll away from it. Anyway, your comments are appreciated. :)

Did you make this in flash?
From my perspective, I guess I'd like to see the drop change shape as it travels over the leaf. But apart from that it's cute.

Flash!? Nope, this is still frame animation created in Photoshop. :)

Nice. much better than the first. my only only concern is the disappearing rain drops at the beginning. The colour is kind of awkward compared to the colour combination of the rest of the animation. have you considered making them a bit transparent, and making the colour closer to that of the raindrops on the leaves. also, at the point at which the drops get to the tip of the leaves, i think there should be a liiiiiiiiiiittle delay right before the drops fall off. this should be as the result of the cohesive forces between the drops and the leaves. other than that, its a great piece of art you have there.
hope this helps;)

Tho I'm unfamiliar to using photoshop for animation
If you can 'tween' I would suggest trying to do an adjustment from one drop location to the next to reduce the jitter. (Vector raindrop?) and adjust the tween motion to go from a slow to a lurch from location to location, that would give it more of a property of a crawling raindrop. Thats all I can suggest.

I appreciate your comments Magnatude but I'm using still frame animation and it doesn't give me many options. But I am reworking the animation to see what I can come up with. Check back soon! :)
