I am mainly A self learned artist, and because I travel constantly drawing is a personal hobby that I love. Since I travel a lot I do mostly pen/ink drawing,(easier to pack with me, and do on the run) but find myself a lot of times running out of motivation/inspiration.
Anyone have some good advise pertaining to pen/ink art? good artists I should look up? pen/ink styles I should explore? I am looking for inspiration so that I can resume enjoying pen/ink drawing and also improve my drawing.

Great artists to look at there,
If you got the money pick yourself up a copy of "Rendering in Pen and Ink (http://www.amazon.com/Rendering-Pen-Ink-Techniques-Illustrators/dp/0823045293/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1257356296&sr=8-1)" by Guptill. It is one of the finest books I know on using ink and helped me a lot. Alot of professional consider that to be the bible on pen and ink and I would have to agree on that. As for getting back into to it, try using different techniques, hatching styles. Maybe go oldschool and get a good fountain pen or even try brush-pens out. Experiment and have fun!

Harry Clarke, Virgil Finlay, HJ Ford, JD Batten, Frank Frazetta, Aubrey Beardsley, Bernie Wrightson. I also find inspiration for pen and ink from woodcuts and engravings. Barry Moser is a master printmaker, his line-work is inspiring - his work really needs to be observed in a book, though.
I like stippling and ink wash - what techniques have you tried?
First 2 from Finlay, second 2 from Clarke, last from Moser.
