Hi all, thanks for your interest. I'm looking for a character artist who can do some really interesting design work on well known Street Fighter characters for a similarly themed sight. I'll need 4 characters total in full color. The finished product should only feature the characters (no background) so that the images can be placed on a background of any color. As far as style goes, I'm open to suggestion. Please let me know your pricing and schedule. Thanks again!

Wow would it kill you guys to actually follow the rules? Plus if you want to apply for this job why not pm the employer?

I think Ca should implement a no posting rule against people that register just to post in this thread. Like for instance pole who've only been registered for a certain number of days are automatically blocked by the forum from posting in this thread.

I agree, however I don't think they will do that. From my point of view they should get more modes to monitor the job forums.

Hey guys,
I appreciate the community pitching in to help keep these forums clutter free. However, there is a point where the help also causes a bit of clutter and we end up in a similar boat. While I 100% appreciate the sentiment and the help, I'm going to make a couple of requests.
If you notice offending posts let's limit it to no more than one reminder in the thread in question. One may not always seem like it gets enough notice, but some people do take notice, and the others may as well be a lost cause. If someone else has already made a post reminding people of the forum rules, give the post a "thanks" and leave it at that so we have as few additional posts as possible.
If you want to be even more pro active in helping, send a polite private message to the offending poster. I used to do that once in a while even before I was a mod. Most are pretty responsive as they were unaware of the rules. Others are a lost cause and will likely eventually earn forum vacations. Most importantly, be polite! We're a great community here, so let's show it. It may get frustrating seeing the same issues crop up again and again, but these new forum goers deserve a chance to get to know the rules without being made to feel unwelcome.
You can also send me a PM and I'll clean up the thread when I can. I'm in here most days, but weekends and holidays I'll likely be off for a few days and that's when these types of posts will seem to get more out of hand. Have faith though, I'll get to probably 95% of the offending posts within a couple of days. A private message may help me get to it a little sooner.
Any questions, feel free to PM me.
Thanks guys!
