I searched the forums and I found a thread for last year, but nothing for the 2010 iteration.

So I thought this would be a better place than spamming the Illuxcon thread with questions and comments :yayca:

IMC is a week long class by a sh*tload of hot pro illustrators and it's organised by Rebecca Guay. There's a roster of regular instructors like Julie Bell, Donato Giancola and our own Mr.DSIllustration himself. And James Gurney will be there this year. w00t.

You can check Irene Gallo's blog for posts about the past years' classes

Dammit! I wish I had $$ to go to just that. That alone would just get me back on the right track. They need something like this up here in Vermont.

I remember seeing this website a year ago and was so envious.

It's in Mass. How close do you need it to be?????
Hop on a bus or whatever and you'll be there in a few hours.

I went last year and I live in Western Canada.

It's $1950.00 total including room and board and you can pay in three installments of $650.00

I've gone to both previous classes and it's getting better every year.

I'm sure it's a great seminar and very valuable to learn from. It's just that my finances right now are in shambles :nohope:

I have to find a new job to replace the current one that's not really doing much for me. :[

My only concern is that if I go there one of these days, I would have to sit or stand close to the instructors to be able to hear what they're saying or read their lips while absorbing their demos.

I'm bummed that Charles Vess isn't going to be there this year, he was one of my favourites last year. Still going, though, and this year I WILL finish my piece :P

Charles Vess is an inspiration.
